Why Get the Flu Vaccination?
This year, protecting yourself against the flu is more important than ever. Getting vaccinated helps:
- Protect you and your family from the influenza virus
- Reduce the spread of the flu in the community
- Ease the strain on the healthcare system during flu season
What is the Flu Vaccination?
The flu jab protects against the influenza virus. Most people receive it as an injection, while children are given a nasal spray. While it’s possible to catch a strain not covered by the vaccine, it still provides some protection and can help you recover faster.
